My daughter asked me why I was harder on her than her brother. A man will always have someone to take care of him but I need you to be a strong, independent, intelligent black woman, that can take care of self. The world is yours as you embark on this new adventure called life. Enjoy every moment of it and remember, we come from a strong generation of females and there is nothing that you can’t accomplish. You stayed focus and achieved your goal, that’s why my Boo is graduating with honors! You are truly a blessing that took 13 years to come into my life. Betty Jean would be so proud of you.
